Enjoy Your Park City Stay

Its hard not to have a great Park City Stay no matter what season you visit in.  There’s so much to do and see here in the area that there’s something for everyone, even if your idea of vacation is doing nothing!

Park City Utah is a historic mining town situated in the Wasatch Mountains on I-80.  It is 35 miles from Salt Lake City International Airport, which means you can fly in at noon and get a couple of runs on our great slopes in the same afternoon.  Once you arrive in Park City, transportation is easy with the free, bio-diesel, bike and ski-friendly public transportation system that can take you just about anywhere you want to go in town.

Park City is known for its great skiing.  Utah has the “greatest snow on earth”, light fluffy dry powder that makes for epic ski days.  Park City boasts 3 resorts of its own and then there are 4 more world class resorts less than an hour away in the canyons of Salt Lake City.

Skiing isn’t all Park City has to offer.  While here take advantage of the great dining and shopping available on Main Street and the Red Rock Center.  Or want a day to just relax and be pampered?  Check in to one of the many day spas available for a day of luxury during your Park City Stay.

Park City may be best known for its winter venues, but there are year round activities for everyone.  Summer in Park City brings the arts festival and the summer concert series featuring renowned performers from all over the world.  There are wine and food festivals and the Silly Sunday Farmers Market that runs June through September and is always changing.

No Park City stay in the fall would be complete without a drive along the Alpine Loop a 20 mile scenic byway offering fabulous views of Mount Timpanogos and other peaks dressed in fall Aspens.  Stop for lunch at Robert Redford’s Sundance Resort for either fine dining or sandwiches to take on a hike.

There is hiking and mountain biking for all abilities available.  Whether you want to take the chair lift to the top and stroll down or ride up the mountain on your own pedal power.  Park City offers 400 miles of public trails for hiking and biking so you’re sure to find one to your liking.  Spring holds its special charms of wildflowers along the hiking trails and golf courses.

This only touches the tip of things available to do on a Park City stay in the fall, winter, spring or summer.  Stop by Park City Info for a calendar of events and enjoy your Park City stay!
